GlowOrb - 'Glob'

This is the Glob variant of the GlowOrb.

The GlowOrb Glob is a single pixel output device, great for showing the status of something. Powered by USB and WiFi connected, you send it a colour (in HTML hex format) and it shows that colour.

You can control it via MQTT or HTTP. Each Glob has a comprehensive instruction page (accessed through the URL on the base of the Glob) which includes a drag-and-drop code example for Node-RED, MQTT connection details, and an HTTP request example.

The GlowOrb Glob is 40x40x25(H) mm, has a 3D printed base and a ping-pong ball diffuser on top. Power is supplied through a micro-USB connector (cable not supplied).
The Glob connects to WiFi using WPA2 authentication, and hosts its own wireless access point for easy initial configuration onto your WiFi.

This is the Glob variant of the GlowOrb classic: there is also the Squorb variant available here on the MarketPlace.
